Right now I am working on the project for the next launch at my shop.
The designs are inspired by my favourite bands and the main theme is Halloween.
The collection will contain three options: a hoodie, a shirt and a tote bag.
At this stage, I am completed with the visual ideas and right now I am working on the second step which is more technical: I need to print out the designs on linen and then stitch them to the selected clothing items.
This launch comes with a secret: the designs will be changible on all of the items. How? Stay tuned to see.
This palette is heavily inspired by The Used band and their eighth studio album called 'Heartwork'.
The eyeshadow pigments were chosen based on the original colour palette that I have created from the album's cover art. The colour names are taken from the lyrics from the songs on this album.
The first row consists of the highly pigmented matte colors only. Although mattes don't offer shimmer and shine as a cream eyeshadow might, they tend to have more pigmentation resulting in better coverage and a smoother blend.
The second row should contain only shimmer colors that contain small particles that reflect the light. Shimmer eyeshadow offers sheer coverage with a subtle shine and a hint of sparkle.
The phrase "There's no looking back now. There's no looking down" inside the palette is the lyrics from the song called big, wanna-be.
