Crazy for You 

arts to ALL and West End Academy of Dance are back to bring top-tier musical theatre to the youth of Richmond, and this time are overjoyed to be partnering with St. Catherine's School. Rehearsals and performances will take place on the St. Catherine's campus in the beautiful Love Jennison Fammily Theatre in Endeavour Hall.

A five week musical theatre intensive for high school and select college-aged students, culminating in a full-scaled Summer Musical Production. All students will participate in either on-stage performance or backstage technical production. Participation in this program requires an audition for performers and an application/interview for technical theatre participants.

The five-week process will provide hands-on instruction and coaching in performance (acting, singing, dancing) and technical theatre (lighting, sound, set and costume design, stage management).  The Summer Musical runs from July 1 to August 4 with over 150 rehearsal and instruction hours. The production we have selected is Crazy For You with music by George and Ira Gershwin and book by Ken Ludwig. This dance-driven Tony award-winning musical, set in the 1930s, is the perfect balance of comedy, story-telling, incredible music, and breathtaking choreography. 

Tuition for this 5 week program is $1200

*All those interested in performance, must fill out an audition form and  sign up for an audition appointment. Please note that there is both a vocal and dance audition.
