Before anyone asks... I did not make his black skinned to make a statement. This was supposed to be a simple human (my dark skinned friend) doing the power pose (his arms are even in the pose still) but while making the piece I ran into multiple problems. His left leg was taking most of the weight while making him stand and I ran through my repertoire of curses while trying to keep it standing. Around the same time I had problems with the stomach collapsing in repeatedly, which i'd have to rip the piece open to fix every time. So after braking his leg and punching his stomach in, I decided on making him road kill... I kept him black and his shirt and shoes white to contrast the muddy brown of the spot of impact. He looks run over. The only thing I have to say about the piece is that if you encounter continues problems you have to eventually work around them or try to incorporate them.
