Shannon Stovall is our Percussion Department Chair and excited to be working with the Chiles High School Band this year! He has been studying percussion since about 1992. In that time he has been bestowed with such honors as Florida All-state Percussionist, FSU Tri-state Percussion Principal, FSU Honors Chamber Winds Solo Percussionist, FSU Big 8 Drumline Section Leader, as well as Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps" Tenor-line Section Leader. Shannon taught at Stubb's Music Center in Tallahassee, FL for seven years. He was also the Percussion Director at Leon High School for three years and taught Swift Creek Middle School Percussion, Cobb Middle School Drumline, Raa Middle School Percussion, and Taylor County High School Percussion and Drumline. Shannon was also a founder of the Capital City Kingsmen WGI Indoor Percussion Ensemble in 2010. He is excited to bring his Gu Wang Dao drum/percussion curriculum to classes at the Arts Dojo!
Jenn Stovall is our Aerial Silks Department Chair. She has been studying aerial arts since January 2014 and has a passion for sharing this activity with everyone she meets. She has studied at Orlando Aerial Arts, and holds teacher certification in aerial silks from Aerial Physique, Los Angeles.
