Overview for Spring term 2026:

The children will be looking at different art topics and styles. Depending on their IPC themes

Year 6: This term, the children will be working on a range of art pieces. They will look at collage work including Japanese Notan art and torn paper collage to make animal faces. They will also design and paint a T-shirt.

  Year 5: The children will be working on lino block printing and create a pattern to make a tote bag.

Year 4: The children will use word to create an image of an animal, they will then copy the animal and then decorate it using bright bold colours in contrast to the actual colours. They will make a 3D model of either a hippo or rhino using news paper and MOD ROC.

Year 3: The children will be making art with wax resists and collage.
