Students registered for my in-person sections will meet in-person on the CCSF Ocean Campus on the first day of the class after the start of the semester. Please be aware that CCSF has a variety of start dates to correspond with the different lengths of class terms we offer.
Students registered for either an online or an 11-12 week term will be able to access the course via CCSF Canvas on the first day of the class. There are NO required on-campus meetings for the online, asynchronous class, inclusive of exams. The shorter term in-peson classes will have regular on-campus meetings.
Your Responsibilities: . To successfully complete a 3.0-unit course online during a full semester of 17.5 weeks requires about 9 hours of work per week. For my online courses, the material is condensed into 16 weeks, and will require about 10 hours of work per week. Your time commitment will vary based upon your own level of experience with web technologies and level of personal commitment. Online courses are NOT self-paced, and you must keep up with the weekly assignments and manage your time efficiently and effectively. Please don’t underestimate the time commitment. Please review this page with tips for succeeding in an online class at CCSF.
