Honggu Kang received the B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2017, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2019 and 2024. He is currently working as a faculty member of Department of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology at Sejong university in Seoul, South Korea.
From 2024 to Feburary 2026, he was a staff engineer at Samsung Electronics (Suwon, Korea). His research interests include signal processing, wireless communications, edge AI, and distributed machine learning.
