But in celebrating its history, the workshop has been renamed Kaijitsu, in honor of the family that started the business. Crafters, painters, sculptors, and glassblowers can be found working inside this building.

The Glassworks in Sandpoint, Varisia were founded by Lonjitsu Kaijitsu in 44?? Over the years, Lord Kaijitsu had overseen the creation of beautiful glasswork that has been sought by people from even beyond Varisia. The Glassworks had built a reputation for supplying useful glasswork as well as decorative pieces. Kaijitsu work can be found in temples and in residences. Lord Kaijitsu was a talented glass crafter and leaves behind a legacy of dedication and creativity.
