launching a new fund raising campaign for the priceless initiatives of the Food Aid Programme “Banco Alimentare”.

The Food Aid Programme “Banco Alimentare” helps everyday one million and half citizens with economic difficulties, through the activity of 7.500 volunteer associations. Unfortunately, the exceptional challenge of COVID 19 and the measures of containment against the spreading of the virus are testing the limits of its activity, which is based on the daily contribution of more than 1.800 volunteers, mostly over 65. As the programme cannot count anymore on their helping hands, its structure is now collapsing, experiencing fatal delays in the collection and distribution of the food for those in need.

As the whole society will face a further and relevant crisis after the healthcare emergency, it is fundamental to donate now.

Therefore, ARS is opening a new fund raising thread on its platform, specifically conceived for the “Banco Alimentare”.

ARS would like to thank the artists of AIPAN (Associazione Italiana per l’Arte Naturalistica), the first ones to give their nature inspired artworks to the new campaign.

As in the previous campaign, it is possible to choose on the website the artwork that you will receive as reward, after you donate its value directly to the account of the “Banco Alimentare”
