"Nasco in Toscana, cullata dalle dolci colline e dalle onde del mare.
Da sempre alla ricerca dell'essenza invisibile in tutte le cose, amo la bellezza di quell'arte dallo spirito tribale, rituale e ancestrale che attraversa il linguaggio dei popoli di tutti i tempi e latitudini.
Ho viaggiato nel mondo con curiosità insaziabile fino a quando, in un giorno come tanti, mi son ritrovata a casa. E' stato lì, nella mia terra natia, che rapita nuovamente dal mare, dal vento e dall'insondabile magia delle scure e silenziose notti stellate, ho cominciato a impastare.
Ho impastato acqua, ricordi e argilla con il fuoco, dando vita alle mie “TerreNarranti”.
Le mie ceramiche sono racconti in cui danzano lumi e fiammelle che scaldano i ricordi, sono custodi di cieli notturni e dame incantate portatrici di ancestrali memorie.
Sono storie di terra, una terra che bisbiglia e narra dell'Invisibile a chi sa ascoltare, a chi sa sentire e a chi sa vedere ancora quel bambino accovacciato che dorme nel profondo dell'Anima""."
I was born in Tuscany, between the peaceful hills and the waves of the sea. Looking for the invisible essence hidden in every Thing, I love mostly that kind of art that reveals the ancestral, ritual and tribal spirit of every human community, in every place and every time. Therefore I have been travelling through the world, with unquenchable curiosity since the day, a very common day, I found myself back home. It was there, in my motherland, charmed once again by the sea, the wind, the magic of the starry night, that I started to mold the clay. Water, memories, clay and fire gave eventually birth to my “TerreNarranti”.
My potteries are tales in which light and flames can dance, rekindling memories from the past, they are the keepers of the mistery of the night-sky, they are magical faeries that murmur ancestral secrets. They are stories from the Earth, an Earth that can speak to those who can still feel as that inner eternal child, hidden in every soul.
