Samanta Malavasi
Samanta Malavasi è nata in Italia, vive e lavora tra Italia e Germania.
Ha iniziato i suoi studi d'arte frequentando l'Istituto d'Arte A.Venturi di Modena corso di ceramica, poi l' Accademia di belle arti a Bologna corso di pittura, sono seguiti numerosi corsi di illustrazione e tecniche artistiche tra Italia e Germania.
Da allora ha pubblicato svariati libri per l'editoria come autrice e illustratrice di libri per ragazzi, ha esposto le sue opere in Europa e Stati Uniti.
Samanta Malavasi is an Italian artist and illustrator, she lives and works between Italy and Germany and published books in Europe and USA
Her artistic practice started with the study of ceramic decoration at the Istituto d’Arte A.Venturi (Modena) and with a master in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Bologna.
Her favourite medium is acrylic on transparent surfaces, emphasizing the material qualities of her brilliant colours that become almost sculptural. Human portraits, often taken by street photographs, are questioning the viewers from both sides of the artwork: “Who are you, today?”
