GIANLE LAMETA' Classe 1979 nato in Salento (SUD-ITALIA), a 16 anni vedo i primi e rari graffiti che comparivano tra le strade della città, ne rimango così affascinato, tanto da volerci provare. Attivo come writer nel Salento fino al 2001, successivamente anche in Lombardia fino al 2013 quando ho deciso di fare ritorno nella mia terra natale. La mia creatività su muro è sempre stata basata sullo studio di lettere e colorazioni…nel 2011 però comincio ad avere nuovi stimoli, nuove visioni e voglia di sperimentare nuovi progetti ed è così che mi dedico completamente ai figurativi e alle illustrazioni, sia su muro che su carta. Tutto ciò che disegno è un’estensione del mio “IO” più profondo che piano piano esce fuori ,è un linguaggio molto personale che racchiude irrequietezza e rilassatezza , è un anello di congiunzione tra me e le persone che osservano i miei lavori, è visitare luoghi inesistenti rendendoli in qualche modo vivi e visibili a tutti.
GIANLE LAMETA', Born in 1979 in Salento (south italy), at 16 I saw the first and rare graffiti appeared on the walls of my city, I remain so fascinated, so much to want it to try. Active as a writer in Salento until 2001 and in Lombardy until 2013 when at that point I decided to return to my native land. My creativity on the walls has always been based on the study of letters and colors. In 2011, however, I begin to have new ideas, new visions and desire to experiment new projects and that's how I dedicate myself totally to do figurative and illustrations, both on wall and on paper. All that design is an extension of mine profound inner me that slowly comes out. It is a very personal language that includes restlessness and relaxation, it is a link between me and the people who see my jobs done, it is to visit non-existent places but making them alive and visible to everybody.
