Krayon è un pixel artist italiano nato a Melfi, con base a Roma. Dopo gli studi in disegno industriale e grafica sviluppa un linguaggio personale con cui si contraddistingue da anni.
Il pixel è l’elemento base su cui costruisce le proprie opere con pazienza e precisione. Nei suoi lavori emerge lo schema progettuale e la gestione dell’immagine nella sua complessità. Da sempre è stato influenzato dalle arti classico-scientifiche, dal neoimpressionismo di Seurat all’optical art di Vasarely.
Durante il suo percorso artistico ha dipinto per molti festival come Vedo a Colori (Civitanova Marche), ManuFactory (Comacchio), Blue Flow (Ventotene), Streetart Wine Fest (Marsala), In wall we trust (Airola). Nel 2015 crea TEXTURA in fest, primo festival di street art nella sua città di origine.
Nel 2018 viene ospitato a Shenzhen da Jardin Orange come artista residente e le sue opere vengono esposte durante la Shenzhen International Art Fair e Hong Kong Affordable art fair.
Krayon (born in Melfi, lives and works in Rome) is a “pixel artist”, inspired both from his studies of Industrial Design and Graphics and from the works of Post-Impressionism (Seurat) and Optical Art (Vasarely). He developed therefore a specific artistic language based on the endless, complex possibilities of a very basic tool: the pixel.
He painted for many festivals: Vedo a Colori (Civitanova Marche), ManuFactory (Comacchio), Blue Flow (Ventotene), Streetart Wine Fest (Marsala), In wall we trust (Airola)
In 2015 he grounded TEXTURA in fest, the first festival of street art in his own hometown.
In 2018 he is artist- in – residence at the Shenzhen da Jardin Orange, and his artworks are then exhibited in the Shenzhen International Art Fair and at the Affordable Art Fair of Hong Kong.
