Alessandro Cemolin
Nato nel 1974 a Treviso si laurea in Desing all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia e comincia subito a lavorare nell’industria come grafico e designer. Nel 2008 si trasferisce a Berlino, città dove vive tutt’ora, per dedicarsi a tempo pieno all’arte visiva. Nei suoi lavori il tema ossessivo del paesaggio urbano oscilla eternamente tra le visioni distopiche e il sogno. La sua tecnica, basata su materiali semplici e senza tempo come la biro e la macchia di caffè, riconnette la tradizione del passato con la visione del futuro.
Born in 1974 in Treviso, Italy, after graduating in design at the Venice Accademia di Belle Arti he started working in the graphic design industry. In 2008 he moved to Berlin where he’s currently living and working as a visual artist. In his works the obsessive theme of the urban landscape shifts from dystopian visions to breath-taking dreams, The technique, based on simple ageless materials as the pen and the coffee stains, reconnect the past with the future.
