Hi, my name is Faina and I am Ukrainian/American mixed media artist with multiple creative personalities. After my initial training and work in Music Education, I continue to grow and discover new artistic ventures. I studied an Art Metal and completed the Graphic Design Program at Southern Methodist University. I am now developing my painting , sculptural and ceramics technique and working on a degree in Fine Arts.

In terms of style, I am predominantly a contemporary painter, but it is very hard to narrow down my interests as I always have “too many” artistic ideas. I found that mixed media are the perfect fit to translate those ideas to canvas. I draw my inspiration from many artists, including Salvador Dali, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso, Amadeo Modigliani and many others.
