So the big news this year is that we took a trip this spring to see Auntie Helen, Uncle John, and the family in Oklahoma. It was great seeing them and Lisa loved meeting more of Jonathan's family that she hadn’t met yet. We rented an RV and drove there. Jonathan surprised Lisa with a longer trip than she thought we were having. We went to the Grand Canyon, the giant sequoia trees, the Devil's Tower, and Lincoln’s tomb. We stood “on the corner in Winslow Arizona”, and shopped in the Eagles Memorial store there. On the way to Auntie

Helen’s, we stopped at the St Louis Arch and one of the Great Lakes, Lake Erie. And we had many fun little stops where we stayed with the RV. It was a wonderful trip and we took a ton of pictures.
We want to say congratulations to Auntie Helen, and our friend Dan, both of whom completed chemo, and the work and bravery is everywhere. Wonderful job to both of them and their support systems!
While on the trip we had some weight loss just from being on the go and eating fruit and other healthy snacks. So we continued dieting when we got home and Jonathan has lost over 80 lbs and Lisa lost over 50. It is insane, we feel so great and don’t really think

about it, it’s just become our habits. We also got electric trikes; we can pedal on our own or use electric power. It is wonderful, Lisa loves hers for taking some trails to see more of nature and take photos.

We made some updates to the house, a new fridge and a washer-dryer combo which has left extra room in our laundry closet. We just had the old oil furnace removed and had a heat pump system installed. We sold our old

car and got what Lisa calls a monster truck, lol! It’s a big blue GMC Sierra 2500HD. I am adding pics of our trip and the truck.
So next spring we have a guy lined up to fix the wood siding on the lower parts of the carport and addition that has dry rot.
Our friend Dan has been working on the landscaping in the back to get it ready for a new shed. And we will get that back room done. Man time just keeps creeping by, and out of sight, out of mind. I bought a lot for that room already, we just have to do it. Same with the Etsy store, soon.
Cozy is great, she had fun on the trip mostly, befriending Jonathan's cousin Johnny, his wife Danielle, and their two dogs. She got used to the camper after a while, but she was glad to get home. She loves playing ball and barking at the cats and foxes in our yard. We bought her a tow-along carrier to hook to the bikes, but have yet to try it as it got cold and snowy earlier in the season than we thought it would.
Finally, Lisa is upset that we couldn’t really finish all of the outdoor decorating for Christmas that she was hoping to do, because of the snow and bitter cold that started before Thanksgiving. Oh well, there is always next year.
