In the world we live in, no one has time to get everything done at once, so we need a helping hand and who better than a handheld device that you can use to send commands even while you use the bathroom! There are machines and technology that think, react and even look like the average day-to-day human being. Whether in the form of the Siri application on iPhones or the new smart self- driving car, artificial intelligence is all around us.

APPLICATIONS

Technology does not dismiss the endless amount of products that have been created. It does not mean devaluing work on steadily advancing projects for newer, better, faster and more life- improving implementations to help us navigate through the trying times we live in. Law enforcement is even using an assortment of the various projects that are making moves to ride this new technological wave. Coming as no surprise, how many developmental companies have been lobbying as defense contractors to be the first to successfully have the first AI law enforcement officers? That means a flawless justice system that is immune to bribery and intimidation? No human officers’ lives lost in the line of duty? That would be amazing!

FUTURE PROSPECTS

• Military

The AI plays a role in security that is as simple as locking your phone to storing military secrets and protecting ourselves from cyberterrorism. There is much skepticism about the vulnerability and easy access into commands of technology, still under the belief that anything can be hacked,. There are vast viable alternatives to the issue with room for more. The concerns in many people's lives are commonly based off the entertainment industry and their portrayal of cyborgs and robots from the future as well as computers that form an emotional obsession to their owners. There is not a movie you have not thought about that hasn’t been in my list of scenarios above. This gives a negative reputation to AIs, shifting focus from the good they do.

• Medicine

In medicine, there is a lot of effort for more intricate and precise procedures, eliminating human error as a whole. Having the right tools and a steadier hand like for all-day surgeries, for example, might be the thing we yearn for to have a sense of fulfillment.

CONCLUSION

Considering the above, there is a large field to be explored and a diverse landscape with endless possibilities of markets. A congested market is still a few light years away, making room for the current and future generations to consider this as a field of study.
