NFL Career Arthur Lynch was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft (pick #155 overall). He played tight end at the University of Georgia from 2009 to 2013, where he walked on to the team and earned a full scholarship. At Georgia, Lynch appeared in 48 games, recording 36 receptions for 450 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was named to the John Mackey Award Watch List as one of the top tight ends in college football, earned Academic All-SEC recognition, and received the Billy Payne Achievement Award. His NFL Combine and Pro Day performances drew attention from multiple NFL franchises before he was drafted by Miami.
Military Service Following his NFL career, Lynch pursued a commission in the United States Army. He completed Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Benning, Georgia, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry branch. Lynch served as an Infantry Officer with the U.S. Army, bringing the same discipline, leadership, and team-first mentality that defined his athletic career to his military service.
Education Lynch holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, where he graduated while competing as a Division I student-athlete. He completed the Wharton-NFL Program in Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a program designed to prepare professional athletes for careers in business and finance. He earned his MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, where he was a member of the Old Ezra Finance Club and focused on investment banking and leveraged finance.
Investment Banking Lynch completed an Investment Banking Summer Associate internship in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) group at Jefferies , one of the leading independent global investment banking firms.
