While preparing an anime project I have had to deal with the puzzling of the flag motion. Below, are GIF animations of flag (the first two animations) and exercises (deformation of the bubble) with web animations techniques (in fact SVG, to keep on with consistency of other material of this website and blog).

1. a 9 frames GIF animation, with blending effect, additional x3 frames for the interpolation (3.3FPS)

2. a 9 frames GIF  animation  (3.3 FPS)

3. a deformation of a bubble; you need to reload the page to restart from the beginning, although the animation is supposed to be stable indefinitely, it is not, you see the state of the art behavior (see more information about SVG animation according to a popular Vector Graphics promoter)
