This page is about digital coloring of mandalas.
A mandala giving an illusion of depth, animated (created by the GIF export routine from the GIMP)
mandala stencil used (from Marcel's kid website)
This first project is a palette study in a form of a mandala. This is a digital coloring with MS paint (v 22H2), an app that can be found on any preinstalled computer.
My objective was to use a palette based on a manufacturer color 2024 star (peach fuzz), other tints are elaborated by artgraphic.db
This second project uses another palette , elaborated with paint, again. Referring to mandala 1, the template used is based on the same Marcel's kid stencil, printable, available online, from Marcel's kid website. The palette is derived from the orange/blue. It is digitally colored with the app Paint 3D, but, the palette (shown below) is a result of color mixing with the natural pencil (in standard MS Paint).
Palette elaborated, based on primary RYB primary colors (stars shapes). The tints result of primary colors mixing. Several color pickings are averaged to the sixth patch for a given hue.
For instance, I picked up five times on the red and white mix, and ended in the five patches shown; the sixth patch is RGB averaged of these 5 pick-ups.
I do not show the color pickings for the other mixes (black boxes are just shown instead).
