PROJECT BRIEF

This is a Public Service Ad aimed at elementary school students.  The issue can be of your choosing.  You will need to create a cute animal/person/thing mascot, super hero, or other such character using either the comic book style or the painterly style.  This character will act as a "spokesperson" for the issue you are presenting.  Keep in mind your audience is elementary school students so you need to produce it to resonate with their culture (think back to what you would've caught your eye as a kid). 

SPECS:

Carefully draft the character in pencil first, using whatever method you need.  I will need to see the pencil sketch on the class before the final is due.  Produce  81/2 * 11 inches @ 150 ppi.  Do a good job matching the type with the image and be careful with the composition. 

Keys: Please note that you MUST have some shading in the character, the Magic Three: Shadow, Midtone, & Highlight areas...it can't be just flats.
