T Basics: Shape Building
The Basic Shape Tool (Rectangle, Oval, Star, etc.), Pathfinder Palette, Distort, Properties-Transform-Reflect, Distort Tools, and Drawing Tools (Pen, Pencil, Brush, Blob Brush, Line, etc.) are all important to master in order to have the skill to create ANY shape you wish.

The figure ground principle is very important in logo design, using it can enhance that design and maybe communicate more than meets the eye. Open the Fig_ground.ai file from the D2L site and follow the directions as given in class.
