Frayed cords, small appliances, cordless vacuums, furniture, broken things that need to be glued, repaired or altered in some way. Custom creations and alterations in wood, plastic, ceramic, metal, etc.
Cheap things are often cheaper to replace than to repair. But if it was expensive to buy or has sentimental value to you, it may be worth fixing. Cordless dyson vacuums are an example. They cost several hundred to buy. But the rechargeable batteries die after a while. Fortunately the batteries are replaceable! And not very expensive.
A typical repair wants to be invisible. But when that’s not possible a repair can still look good, sometimes even better.Â
I do: replacing parts, gluing cracked wood or ceramics, welding broken plastic, replacing frayed power cords, replacing dead rechargeable batteries, tightening loose fasteners, hanging artworks, repairing artworks and more...Â
I'm in the Seward/Longfellow area in Minneapolis, MN.
