Hi, I’m Emily—artist, educator, and community builder with a firm belief that creating is for everyone (yes, even you who says you “can’t draw a stick figure”). With nearly two decades of experience teaching art and leading social-emotional learning in schools, I’ve seen firsthand the magic that happens when people get their hands messy and make something together.
I started Art From Mud to bring that same magic outside the classroom—into breweries, boardrooms, backyards, and beyond. Whether I’m leading a group of kids in a summer art session, guiding a team through a creative team-building workshop, or helping families connect over beaded bracelets and block printing, I use art as a tool for connection, curiosity, and joy.
I believe deeply in the power of community, creativity, and the kind of laughter that only happens when you try something new (and maybe glue your fingers together in the process).
Art From Mud is a mobile art studio and creative experience company on a mission to help people reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with their creativity.
We offer hands-on workshops, pop-up events, and private parties that are equal parts fun, approachable, and beautifully messy. From corporate team-building sessions to girls’ nights, birthdays, and community events, we bring everything needed to transform any space into a pop-up art studio.
No experience required. Just show up, make stuff, and leave with something you’re proud of (and maybe a little paint on your hands).
We believe that creativity isn’t a talent—it's a human trait. And we’re here to help you tap back into it.
