The Coronation

On  the 6th  of April was the coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

 It was a very important happenning and all the world was celebrating this event. It was a Saturday, so our school celebrated the ocasion the following Monday.

We had an exhibition of paintings made by our Pupils, we had a trone and a crown in the School Entrance, and tea and scones in the traditional way. 

At the canteen the lunch was fish and chips, for the delight of everyone.

Some pupils  of the 12th grade performed, as King Charles III and his wife, with a speech and some jokes about it.  

We all had lots of fun, and  the  school was covered with research work done by all  the students about the royal family; the biography of other British Kings and Queens;  the UK and other countries of the Commonwealth.
