I. Information We Process
Our mission is to constantly improve our App and provide you with new or better experiences. As part of this mission, we use your information for the purposes as set out below. If any new purposes for processing your personal data arise we will let you know before we start to process information on that new purpose by introducing the corresponding changes to this Privacy Policy.
Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”)
Our definition of PII includes any information that may be used to specifically identify or contact you, such as your name, email address etc. The data is collected from the user in-app.
We do not collect any Personal Information through the app. (Personal Information includes your name, physical address, social numbers, email address and geographic location information.) Your photos are processed locally on your device. We don’t upload your photos to our servers or use your photos for any other purpose. Photos are used for realtime analysis and will be automatically deleted after processing.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“non-PII”):
Our definition of non-PII is any information that does not personally identify you.
This information can include, but is not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, general geographic information, your mobile operating system. "Non-Personal Information" is information that does not identify you or any other individual, and includes Session and Usage Data, Log Data and Aggregate Information.
II. Device Permissions
Camera and Photos
To fully experience our services, please also note that you should enable us to access to permissions in your phone such as camera and photo album. Only if you confirm the permission, will we gain access to the Camera and Album. Then, you can apply awesome glitch effects/art filters to photos/videos or find which well-known person you look like. You can also disable such access permission in settings of your phone if you do not think it’s necessary.
This app does not analyze or collect any private or image related data on your device, nor does the app send any of this data to web servers.
Please note that we do not take any information, photos or other content from your device. We do not collect, store your data in our servers; we do not share your data with any third parties.
Microphone permission
Used for shooting videos, then you can apply glitch effects on videos.
Storage permission
Used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.
III. How Do We Process Face Data
Please notice that, we DO NOT collect user face information.
In order to access the full features of the app, some functions may need face image, such as hairstyle, spirit animal etc. Then, we can automatically process the photo, feedback the effect or conclusion to them. For such photo, effect and conclusion, we will neither store nor share them with any third parties. All photos are realtime processed and will be deleted automatically after the analyzing process ends. Your photos are safe in your own devices and never be uploaded to any server.
We use Amazon’s AWS Rekognition service to calculate face similarity scores between our users and well-known people. We never keep any image of users in any circumstances. We directly send user images as an input to AWS Rekognition Service and it uses facial landmarks extracted from the image and various deep learning algorithms to calculate similarity score. AWS Rekognition Service does not keep the original image data. It only keeps facial landmarks vectors extracted from the image. That means neither us nor Amazon keeps any image of users in any condition. Please feel free to visit AWS Rekognition FAQ page if you have more questions.
IV. Data and usage
Generally we may use Non-Personal information and message data for internal purposes only, such as to provide you with the Services, to notify you of new products or services. We do not combine Non-Personal Information with Personal Information.
We do not disclose your information to third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes.
V. Third Party Disclosure
We will not disclose the content of the privacy of the user to any third party, nor apply to any third-party websites, services or applications.
We respect and protect all users’ privacy. We will never and shall not have the right to sell, trade, disclosure or otherwise transfer your information to the third parties for any purposes without user’s permission.
VI. Sharing of Content
Within the App, you may be provided the option to share content (e.g., a pic) directly with social networking or other platforms. If you choose to share any content from the App with a third party platform, please note that you are agreeing to that platform’s use of your content and information consistent with its relevant privacy and other policies – not this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any third party platform.
VII. Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no app, website, Internet transmission, computer system or wireless connection is completely secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the App is deemed approval of all changes.
