“Growing up, I was creating artwork on everything from illustrating school reports, to embroidering friends’ jeans, to painting murals on entrance walls of office buildings”
Francesca Campbell Hulick was born in Texas spending most of her childhood on her grandparents' ranch in Paris, and likes to joke that she grew up in France. She received a BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas in Austin. After graduating, she went away from her artistic creativity for quite awhile to travel and experience life. Francesca traveled the world ~ Scotland, New Zealand, Tahiti, Netherlands, western & eastern Europe, Ecuador, Africa, Canada, England, Caribbean islands . . . and enjoyed a diverse background of achievements ~ Firefighter/EMS, Mountain Search & Rescue, Wilderness EMT, Ski Instructor, Veterinary Assistant, Hiking & Biking Tour Guide, Volunteer for Dog/Wolf/Wildlife Non-Profit Rescues.
Throughout the years, Francesca's love of painting never left her. With lots of memories & photos, she is enthusiastic to share her view of this colourful world. Her artwork is inspired by animals, flowers, landscapes, the immensity and mystery of nature. She works in oils and acrylic, using bold colors to convey an impressionist sense to her work.
Francesca has lived in the Rocky Mountains of Montana & Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, and now living her best life in Vermont.
