Hi, Crafty here! I'm 18, and I'm from Palencia, Spain. I've been drawing since I was 6, but I started self-learning since I was 12 during a global pandemic known as Covid-19.
I don't really how to describe myself, so I just want to make myself a very simple question: what do I like? Since I was little, I've been engaged to several series, animes and viodeogames such as Dragon Ball, Beyblade and Pokemon HeartGold, which made think about all the stories and all the characters I loved about them and made me feel happy. I wanted to create those kind of stuff. I wanted to create stories and characters that made more people happy and, in the end, create stories and characters to make people feel the same as I felt when I was little.
After having told you what inspires me to create, you can see I focus on 2D art, both traditional and digital art. For my digital art, I own an iPad Pro 4th generation 12,7 inches and an Apple Pencil and I mainly focus on drawing on the app Procreate, but I'm also experienced in other apps, such as Ibis Paint X. In the other hand, for my traditional artworks, I mainly use a heavy A4 or A5 paper from the brand Sakura and a mechanical pencil and eraser from the brand Faber Castell. I mainly ink my art with UniPin fineliners, but sometimes I ink with actual ink from the brand Royal Talens and unbranded pen nibs. Finally, I give it colour with alcohol markers from Promarker and colour pencils from several brands.
On my general illustrations, you will find from several anime and videogames fandoms, such as Pokemon or Beyblade, but you can also find illustrations from series like Top Gear, Doctor Who and Good Omens, which are also very important in my life.
On 2024/2025 I did a researche work about character design alongside the Universidad de Valladolid (UVa) where I studied the characteristics of a character and made my own study about character design from my project Beyond This Universe. I asked 66 people to answer several questions about the different versions of the same character design and they had to answer if the design had evolved, the characteristics that evolved the most and their targets. We arrived at the conclusion that the character evolves as the artist adquires more knowledge about it and both the general work while the survey where a total success. This research was also promoted to participate in Salamanca alongside more research works.
