The Birth of Artastic Art
The birth of Artastic Art all started with our love for Art. In 2018, my mom took me to the 'Acton Kids Business fair' to show me what kids my age were doing more than just studies. I was sooooo inspired and motivated from these children that day that I decided that I should do something too. Maybe I can sell my artwork?! Can I do something for my community? That gave birth to the "Artastic Art". I worked hard to make creative and beautiful, everyday use items used at home. Then, in May 2019, I participated in the 'Acton Kids Business fair' . Artastic Art had its first sale and earned 140$. I donated 100$ to St Jude Hospital and saved the 40$ towards Artastic Art raw material for the future projects.
My little sister has now joined Artastic Art and helps me create new products. We try to reuse and recycle materials found at home. We are always in search of local non-profits to help contribute to our community.
Aashka is a 9 year old co-owner of Artastic Art. She helps set up, run and clean up the fairs we participate in and plays a big role in making our products. She along with Anushka, a co-owner work together to decide which organizations to support.
