Boris Vaitovic was born on 28 February 1976. From 1990 until 1994 he studied at Arts and Crafts School (graphic art) in Košice. From 1994 until 1999 he studied at Constantine the Philosopher University (UKF) in Nitra (Faculty of Arts – ethics, Faculty of Education – fine arts). From 1999 until 2005 he studied at Faculty of Fine Arts of Technical University in Košice, Department of Fine Arts and Intermedia. In 2002 he acquired PaedDr. title at UKF in Nitra. In 2005 he was awarded Mgr.Art. title at Department of Fine Arts and Intermedia at Faculty of Fine Arts of Technical University in Košice and, in 2012, he finished postgraduate studies at AKU in Banská Bystrica and acquired title ArtD. Nowadays he teaches at Faculty of Fine Arts of Technical University in Košice. He devotes his time to painting, graphic, video art, photography, new media and underground music. He has exhibited his works in Slovakia, Italy, Germany, France, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Czech, Netherland and Japan. In range of media art present artworks based on responsive and interactive installations using specific hardware solution. Cross point between analogue and digital responsivity, measuring electrical capacity of human body in the space or changing visual condition according to view of visitor ends in unexpected experience.
