Itinerary

After breakfast at Hotel, proceed for an interesting drive to on the outskirt from Kathmandu city to reach the western valley rim. On arrival at Thankot, a small town and the exit and entry point to Kathmandu city and the valley. Start a short walk to get into a cable car that takes you to the top of the scenic Chandragiri Hill. Chandragiri is one of the highest hills that surrounds Kathmandu valley at an altitude above 2,551 meters and 8369 feet high. At Chandragiri enjoy spending time around the Fun Park with refreshing time overlooking the panorama of Himalayan peak, from Manaslu, Ganesh with Langtang Himal range, extends further east towards Jugal Himal with Dorji Lakpa and Gaurishankar, as far towards Everest range of mountains. Meanwhile you can also visit Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple A sacred Hindu sanctuary. The architectural splendor and religious significance of the Bhaleshwor temple make it a worthwhile stop on your tour.

While returning Back from Chandragiri we take you to wonderful site at Swambhunath Stupa perched on a hillock surround with green forest where many Rhesus monkey dwells, and thus the name Monkey Temple. Swambhunath Stupa, dates back as far to 460 A.D. stands above Kathmandu west of the valley and city rim, a famous landmark of the country. Enjoy grand views of Kathmandu city and the valley with snow peaks in the north.
