I had no idea how complicated it was to read a sewing pattern, for someone who had never read/drawn one up before. Long story short – it's pretty damn complicated. But just because I'm no expert at writing patterns doesn't mean I can't help you understand them better.
So, you want to learn how to use sewing patterns, do you? Okay well, I'll get straight down to it. You don't need to be intimidated by a sewing pattern unless you make it that way. All I'm going to do here is try and teach you the basics so that it's not so scary next time you try and cut out a sewing pattern.
