Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This policy explains how ArrowRift handles information. Features described below apply when available in your version of the game. Ranked play and optional account linking are available in version 1.1. Version 1.2 adds optional campaign backup and friend challenges. The campaign can be played without a linked account.
1. Campaign progress and preferences
Campaign progress, puzzle saves and settings are stored locally on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove local data. From version 1.2, linking a Player Account enables campaign backup: unlocked levels, best puzzle results, discovered crystals and guardian progress are stored with your player identifier using Unity Cloud Save. Sync keeps your best results from both copies. Current unfinished campaign puzzles and device settings remain local. The account screen lets you sync progress or choose account progress on another device. Changing accounts does not automatically combine their campaigns.
2. Ranked play and accounts
Connecting to ranked play creates a Unity Authentication player identity. ArrowRift stores a player identifier, a generated display name, rating, wins, losses, draws, placement progress, matchmaking tickets, puzzle moves, mistakes, match results and relevant timestamps using Unity Gaming Services. These records support matchmaking, restoring an interrupted round, calculating results, preventing invalid submissions and maintaining the leaderboard.
Leaderboard entries can show your generated display name, rank, rating and tier to other players. The game does not ask you to supply a real name for the leaderboard.
You may optionally link a Unity Player Account to protect and restore your rank across devices. Unity handles the browser sign-in and account credentials. ArrowRift does not receive your password and does not request access to your email through the Player Accounts integration. An unlinked guest account may become unrecoverable if its local sign-in is lost. Version 1.1 does not back up campaign progress; version 1.2 supports the campaign backup described above.
Friend challenges in version 1.2 store an invitation code, the two player identifiers and generated names, shared puzzles, recorded moves, mistakes, results and timestamps. Your challenge partner can view both results and move replays after the challenge settles. A code permits one other player to join; share it only with the person you want to challenge. Friend challenges do not change ranked ratings.
3. Advertising and service providers
Published versions with advertising use Unity LevelPlay and its advertising partners. These services may process device or advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics and technical information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve their services. Development previews may have advertising disabled.
Starting with version 1.3, advertising services stay off until the player selects the age group 18 or older and explicitly allows ads. The age group and advertising choice are saved only on the device; no date of birth is collected. Players can continue without ads and can change their choice in Settings > Ad privacy. Withdrawing permission stops new ad requests and discards loaded ads; it does not delete information already processed by the providers. The sale/sharing opt-out signal remains enabled. Puzzle access, rewards and ranked results do not depend on allowing ads. Ads may appear only after a completed regular puzzle, after at least five minutes of active play.
Unity Engine Diagnostics also operates when the game runs, independently of optional advertising. It collects crash logs, diagnostic and app performance information, and an installation-specific identifier for analytics to diagnose crashes and improve reliability. This diagnostic collection has no in-game opt-out; declining advertising does not disable it. Unity states that this diagnostics service does not share these data with third parties.
Unity Authentication, Player Accounts, Cloud Code, Cloud Save and Leaderboards process information needed to provide the online features and their security. Service providers may process network and device information under their own policies. ArrowRift does not sell personal information.

4. Retention and security
Ranked account statistics are retained while the account is used, unless deletion is requested. Old matchmaking tickets, abandoned records and detailed settled matches are eligible for periodic cleanup; aggregate ratings and results remain with the account. Friend invitations expire after seven days, and their detailed records become eligible for cleanup seven days after expiry. Campaign backups remain with the account until an account/data deletion request is fulfilled. Cleanup is periodic rather than immediate. Service logs and provider records follow the providers' retention policies. Data needed for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations may be retained where necessary; we will explain any applicable exception when responding to a deletion request.
Online requests use encrypted connections. Access controls limit access to private ranked records, and ranked results are calculated on the server. No system can guarantee complete security. Providers may process information internationally.
5. Request access or delete your ArrowRift account and data
You can request deletion of your ArrowRift account and associated ranked data, campaign backups and friend challenge data, or request access to your data, by emailing alnorarawan@gmail.com with the subject “ArrowRift account and data request”. This option is available even if you have uninstalled the game. In versions with ranked accounts, Settings > Privacy & support > Account & data deletion also provides a request flow and a player reference you can copy.
Include your player reference if available and describe your request. Never send a password. If you do not have the reference, contact us for help identifying the account. We verify ownership before providing or deleting account data. Deletion requests cover the ArrowRift ranked profile, leaderboard entry, campaign backup and associated identifiable ranked and friend challenge records, subject to necessary security or legal exceptions described above. Local campaign data can be removed by clearing the application's data on your device.
Deleting a Unity Player Account is separate from deleting ArrowRift's ranked records. To delete your Unity Player Account, visit:

ArrowRift does not ask players to submit a real name, address or phone number. Advertising, account services and other processing may be subject to additional requirements based on age and location. If you believe a child's information was collected inappropriately, contact us.
