This Privacy Policy describes how Arrow Puzzle 2 ("we", "us", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
1. Overview
Arrow Puzzle 2 is an arrow-based puzzle game for Android. The App is designed to be a fun, offline puzzle experience. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect or store any personal information on our servers.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information
- Your precise or approximate location
- Photos, videos, files, or any media from your device
- Contacts, calendar data, or call logs
- Microphone or camera data
- Any biometric data
- Any financial or payment information directly
2.2 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device using a local database (Room/SQLite). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party:
- Game progress: your current level number, lives remaining, coins earned, and games completed
- Game preferences: theme selection, animation speed, vibration and sound settings, fill board preference
- Ad-free status: whether you have earned ad-free access by watching reward ads, the reward ad count, and the ad-free expiration timestamp
- Tutorial status: whether you have completed the introductory tutorial
- Win video preference: whether celebration videos are enabled
- Saved game state: the current board layout so you can resume where you left off
All of this data is stored entirely on your device. If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted.
3. Third-Party Services
3.1 Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and process certain information to serve ads, including:
- Advertising ID (a resettable, anonymous identifier for advertising)
- Device information (device model, operating system version, screen size)
- IP address (used to estimate general geographic area, not precise location)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- App usage data related to ad delivery
Google AdMob's data collection and use is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, which you can review at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
3.2 Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
The App uses the Google User Messaging Platform to manage your ad consent preferences, in compliance with applicable regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive. When required by your region, the App will present a consent form allowing you to:
- Consent to or decline personalized advertising
- Access and change your privacy preferences at any time through the App's settings
- View details about how advertising partners use your data
Your consent choices are stored locally on your device and communicated to Google AdMob to ensure ads are served according to your preferences.
3.3 Google Play In-App Updates
The App uses the Google Play In-App Updates API to check for and facilitate app updates. This communicates with Google Play services on your device and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Internet and Network Access
The App requires the following permissions:
- INTERNET: Required to load and display advertisements from Google AdMob, check for app updates, and request ad consent forms.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to check whether the device has an active internet connection before attempting to load ads or check for updates.
These permissions are not used to collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any of your personal information with third parties. The only data shared with third parties is the information automatically collected by Google AdMob as described in Section 3.1 above, which is governed by Google's own privacy policies.
6. Data Security
Since we do not collect personal data on any server, there is no centralized database of user information that could be breached. All game data is stored locally on your device and protected by the security measures built into the Android operating system.
7. Children's Privacy
Arrow Puzzle 2 is a general audience puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require account creation, does not collect personal information, and does not include social features, chat, or user-generated content.
Advertisements displayed in the App are managed by Google AdMob. If you believe your child has been exposed to inappropriate advertising, please contact Google directly through their support channels.
Parents and guardians can manage their child's ad experience through Android's parental controls and Google's Family Link settings.
8. Data Retention
Game progress and preferences are stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can reset your game data by clearing the App's data through your device's Settings, or by uninstalling the App. We do not retain any data on external servers.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following choices regarding your data:
- Ad Consent: Where required by law, you can manage your advertising consent preferences through the consent form presented by the App, or by accessing privacy options in the App's settings.
- Advertising ID: You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's advertising settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads on most Android devices).
- Delete Local Data: You can delete all locally stored game data by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
- Ad-Free Experience: You can earn temporary ad-free access by watching 30 reward video ads, which removes all advertisements for 24 hours.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights regarding data processed by Google AdMob. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information about exercising those rights.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we handle data.
