welcome to Driftlock : Arrow Escape ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our"), developed by Arajit Das. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive, safe experience while playing our puzzle game.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected in compliance with global data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), and Google Play Developer Policies.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Driftlock : Arrow Escape is built with privacy-first principles:

• No Account Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal credentials.

• No Personal Identity Data: We do not collect your real name, physical address, phone number, contacts, financial details, microphone input, or exact GPS location.

• No Cloud Upload of Game Data: We do not store or track your game session data on private backend servers.

2. Local Device Storage

All your gameplay progress, unlocked game modes (such as Zen Mode, Timed Rush, Obstacle, and Move Limit), highest scores, achievements, and audio/haptic preferences are saved strictly locally on your Android device (using SharedPreferences / Room Database). 

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. In-Game Advertisements (Google AdMob)

To keep the game free to play, we use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. 

Google AdMob and its certified ad partners may process non-sensitive pseudonymous technical information, such as:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID).

• Coarse location derived from IP address (country/city level).

• App interaction metrics and diagnostics (for ad rendering, fraud prevention, and frequency capping).

 4. European Regulations (GDPR, UK GDPR & ePrivacy Directive)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland:

• Google UMP Consent Framework: We integrate the official Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK supporting the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2). Before serving personalized ads or accessing advertising identifiers, your consent is gathered.

• Revoking / Modifying Consent: You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by opening the in-game 'Settings' and tapping the 'Privacy Settings' button.

• Legal Bases: Data processing relies on user consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for personalized ads, and legitimate interest for essential security and fraud detection.

• User Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time.

5. US State Privacy Notice (CCPA / CPRA & Other US States)

For residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other US states with active privacy laws:

• Notice at Collection: We and our advertising partners may collect online identifiers, internet activity information, and device diagnostic data.

• Do Not Sell or Share: We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, sharing identifiers for targeted cross-context behavioral advertising may be categorized as a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws.

• Opt-Out Rights: You have the right to opt-out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings or in-app privacy options.

• Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you for exercising your consumer privacy rights.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Families Policy)

Driftlock : Arrow Escape is a family-friendly puzzle game designed for general audiences of all ages. 

• We strictly comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and Google Play Families Policies.

• We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

 7. Data Retention & Deletion

Because all your game data is stored solely on your device, you have full control over data deletion. 

You can permanently delete all game progress and settings at any time by:

1. Going to Android Settings -> Apps -> Driftlock : Arrow Escape -> Storage -> Clear Storage / Clear Data.

2. Or by uninstalling the game from your device.

 8. Managing Advertising Preferences on Android

You can reset or opt out of personalized ads across all apps directly from your Android device:

1. Open Android Settings.

2. Navigate to Google -> Ads.

3. Tap "Reset advertising ID" or "Delete advertising ID".
