Welcome to my webpage! I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at IIT Kharagpur in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, with a keen focus on Macroeconomics and Development Economics. Under the guidance of Dr. Siddhartha Chattopadhyay, my research is centered around two key areas as of now: "An application of the Restricted Generalised Method of Moments on Mankiw-Romer-Weil (1992)" and "Sovereign Debt and the Liquidity: Does the Maturity Structure of the Government Bond Matter?" For in-depth information on our research papers, please refer to the Slides section on this page.
I have a strong background as a former Business Analyst at Genpact, where my passion for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) was ignited. However, my true interests lie in the academic realm, and I am driven to explore complex economic theories and models.
Throughout my academic journey, I have achieved notable milestones. During my B.Sc. (Economics Hons.) at R.K. Mission Residential College Narendrapur, I secured the prestigious First Class first position for the year 2014-17. In recognition of my outstanding performance, I was honored with the Prof. D. N. Dutta Memorial Medal (Gold Medal Equivalent) in March 2018. Additionally, my knowledge and skills were acknowledged by Calcutta University, as I received an award for my performance in their Economics-oriented Quiz contest, Envision 2018, in February 2018. My dedication to social work was also recognized, and I received certificates from the National Service Scheme (NSS) for my contributions.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I am deeply passionate about art and painting, allowing me to explore my creative side. I believe that the combination of my academic drive and artistic flair contributes to my holistic approach to life.
Thank you for visiting my webpage, and I hope you find valuable insights into my academic journey and interests. Feel free to reach out to me for any further information or collaboration opportunities.
