Aromatic herbs are aromatic and flavoring herbs. They usually grow in warm climatic zones. They are used in many areas, such as food, cosmetics, medicine, spices and paints. Aromatic herbs are also used in the treatment of certain diseases, such as depression, asthma, and cancer.
Göksu Kamış /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
In my opinion, aromatic plants are just like any other ordinary plant, but it has a smell and taste much better than other plants, such as grass or a leaf of a tree. And it’s pretty easy to care for them, as if with my experience so far. But I did not know that they were used for such great purposes. For example, we just made lavender flavored muffins, just like a month ago. Our friends prepared salads and used spices to make their food much more enjoyable.
Arzum Ertik /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
Aromatic herbs are as basic as any other herbs, but there is a difference. That is, they are fragrant. They are also used for health care, extraction of essential oil for endustries, seasoning, fragrance and more.
Yağmur Özdemir /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I think aromatic plants are not much different from other plants, but they have a much better smell and taste than other plants. You can easily grow them and they are useful in many areas. For instance, they can be used both in as medicine or in cooking, healhtcare and cosmeticsh.
Deniz Ölmez /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I think aromatic herbs are just like other herbs, but they are healthy and their taste is much better. Today they are used in cosmetology, healthcare and even more.
Veysel Enes Çalışkan / Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I do not know what a competitive definition of aromatic herbs is, but I think that they usually have some common properties, such as good smell and taste. We use them in healt, cosmetics, food and many industries.

I think we can monitor our plants improvement and growing process by putting a see-through material to the one side of a pot. That way we can see how its' roots grow withall watching its' movements on the dirt.
Arzum Ertik /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I agree with Arzum. The idea of a see-through material is great. And i think, because of it is suitable for spring and it can grow qucikly, carrot would be a great choice as a plant.
Veysel Enes Çalışkan / Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I think Veysel and Arzum are right. The idea of taking an ordinary pot and turning it into something you can watch a plants growth is wonderful. And carrot is a great choice because it grows underground so you can watch its rooting much more easier.

Even though I had a different idea at first, I now think Garieri GABRIELE's design would be more useful and easy to make. So my vote is on that idea.

Garieri Gabriele's idea is the most handy one in my opinion. The drawings are great too. It is easy to make and also wisely like everybody said. So I think we should continue with this idea.

Irrigating slowly allows water to soak into the ground. So watering deeply instead of frequently prevent wasting water. And to process that we should know this and act by it.
Yağmur Özdemir /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
In order for proper watering to be done, it is necessary to provide sufficient water first and then use the water appropriately to ensure that the soil remains permanently fertile. When water is used well, it damages many times instead of benefit. Therefore, knowing the moisture level of the plant will prevent waste of water. Because of uninformed irrigation, hundreds of thousands of decares of land in our country have become irreplaceable or abandoned. We need to develop a tool, knowing and paying attention to this points.
Deniz Ölmez /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
When watering plants, we should not water from one side. Some plants grow with moisture in the air. When watering is over, the top of the flowerpot should be completely wet.
Göksu Kamış /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I thought about a device template which measures the moisture level in the soil and tells if it is damp enough to help grow the plant healthy. I think we can work on it. It's easy to make and use too.
Tuna Gül /Teacher Fatma Boztepe/ Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I think making a device template which measures the moisture level in the soil and tells if it is damp enough to help grow the plant healthy (Tuna's idea) is easy and useful at the same time. It can be helpful in many areas. And even it seems like it's difficult to make or use it's actually not. You can believe me. This is a very easy and useful way.
Yağmur Özdemir - Teacher: Fatma Boztepe - Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
Our friend Tuna thought of a device template that measures the moisture level in the soil and tells whether the plant is moist enough to help it grow healthy. Measuring the moisture level is a very useful point for irrigation. In this way, we can avoid the waste of water and grow the plant healthier by learning whether there is a need for irrigation. This is a useful and practical method, so I think it is better.

We made delicious dishes and beautiful creams with aromatic herbs. We also talked about how we can use them as home-made medicine. We have even developed a potted model and a watering tool for the health of the plant. While doing these, I learned where and how aromatic plants are used and what factors are important for the health of the plant.
Deniz Ölmez- Teacher: Fatma Boztepe - Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School
I have learnt how to care plants carefully and which way i can use them.
