Users are permitted to partially delete any data they deem unnecessary from our system. This can be accomplished through the app's user interface, where users can select specific entries or categories of health data for deletion. We ensure that such requests are fulfilled immediately without any delay and all traces of such data are cleared.

3. Requesting Account Deletion

To initiate the account deletion process, you must submit a request via email from your registered Email address. The email should include the subject line "AroCord - Delete Account" to privacy@mghealthtech.com  and must contain the following details:

1. Your full name.

2. Registered email address.

3. Reason for Deletion.

4. Any additional information necessary for verification.

5. Your acknowledgement of the understanding that deletion is an irreversible action.

Upon receipt of your email request, our team will verify the provided details. Once verification is complete, we will process your account deletion request, overseen by our Privacy Officer. You will receive a confirmation once your account has been successfully deleted.

4. Account Deletion Process

Upon receiving your request to delete your account, we will permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our systems.

We ensure that any health data collected is also deleted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

We also anonymize any retained data where possible, ensuring that individual identities cannot be reconstructed.

5. Exceptions

Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as compliance with regulatory obligations or fraud prevention. In such cases, we will clearly disclose our data retention practices when you raise to delete your data.
