I’m Arnob Ghosh, an Oceanographer from Bangladesh specializing in marine pollution, coastal biogeochemistry, and numerical modeling. My work focuses on heavy metal and microplastic contamination, algal and microbial biogeochemistry, PFAS in fish, and the ecological impacts of environmental stressors on coastal systems.
I integrate remote sensing, hydrodynamic modeling, and machine learning to study pollutant transport and primary producer dynamics. I’m currently developing a real-time algal bloom forecasting system for the Bay of Bengal using Sentinel-2A imagery and predictive modeling.
Skilled in Python, R, ROMS, ArcGIS, and Google Earth Engine, as well as ICP-MS geochemical analysis, I aim to support sustainable ocean management through data-driven insights into how pollution and climate change shape marine ecosystems.
