I am currently working as an IPDF at IIT Bombay under the mentorship of Prof. Neela Nataraj. Prior to this, I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, IISc Bangalore, under the supervision of Prof. Thirupathi Gudi .
My research focuses on numerical PDEs, particularly finite element methods (FEM). I develop, analyze, and implement FEM-based methods, with a primary interest in adaptive FEM, a posteriori error analysis, and the convergence and quasi-optimality of adaptive mesh refinement for various PDEs, especially nonlinear PDEs and optimal control problems.
I also explore other FEM variants, including mixed FEM and various discontinuous Galerkin (DG) methods. Recently, I have developed an interest in polytopal methods, such as the hybrid high-order (HHO) method. I plan to explore it in the near future.
