Arnab Hazra
Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2018 from the Department of Statistics, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, United States, under the supervision of Brian J. Reich and Ana-Maria Staicu. Before that, I completed my Bachelor of Statistics (B.Stat.) and Master of Statistics (M.Stat.) from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. After my Ph.D., I was a postdoctoral fellow of Statistics at the Computer, Electrical, and Mathematical Science and Engineering (CEMSE) Division, at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. Besides, I have completed the Harvard BOK Higher Education Teaching Certificate course.
I have served as a reviewer for the journals- Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics, The Annals of Applied Statistics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series A, Statistics and Computing, Extremes, Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, Computational Statistics and Data Analysis, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series C, Spatial Statistics, Journal of Agricultural, Biological, and Environmental Statistics, Environmetrics, Stat, Biometrical Journal, Statistical Methods in Medical Research, Financial Innovations, International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice, Communications in Statistics-Theory and Methods, Communications in Statistics-Simulation and Computation, Sankhya series B, Sankhya series A, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, India: Physical Sciences, Calcutta Statistical Association Bulletin, Journal of the Indian Statistical Association, Journal of Indian Society of Agricultural Statistics.
