RULES OF ENGAGEMENT ARE TO BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT IS CONSIDERED TO BE A DISCHARABLE OFFENSE
NOTHING IN THESE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT LIMITS YOUR RIGHT TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION TO DEFEND YOURSELF AND YOUR SQUAD
You have the right to use force to defend yourself against attacks or threat of attacks
Hostile Fire may be returned effectively and promptly to stop a hostile action
When U.S. Forces are attacked by unarmed hostile elements i.e Mobs / Riots you are to use the minimum force necessary to stop said action
You may NOT seize the properties of others to complete your mission
Detention of Civilians is authorized for security reasons or in self defense.
REMEMBER
The United States of America is NOT at war
Treat ALL persons with Dignity and Respect
Use minimum Force to carry out missions
Always be prepared to act in self defense
