Yes, you can apply for the post nursing assistant, you only need to be 12th or intermediate pass with physics, chemistry, biology, and English as main subjects from a recognized board, with 50% overall & 40% in each subject.

First of all let me tell you that Nursing assistant is a separate trade in army and is not a part of NDA. And yes, you can join NDA even if you have biology in 12th. The eligibility criteria for NDA is 12th appearing or 12th pass out from any stream. You can apply for NDA exam just make sure you fit in the age limit criteria which is 16 and half to 19 and half years.

As, you have mentioned that you have applied for the post of nursing assistant so, now you will get your admit card in which all the information like date and time of the rally and your roll number will be mentioned. You will have attend the rally with all the required documents. Once you qualify the PFT(Physical fitness test) you will selected for written exam which is conducted nearly after a month of PFT. And finally when you will crack the exam and medical round too you will get your name in the final merit list.

The eligibility criteria for nursing assistant post is minimum 40% marks in each subject(PCB and English) and 50% aggregate. Since you have only scored 49.2 % overall so you are not eligible for this post.

For the post of nursing assistant the education qualification required is 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. OR In case the candidate has a BSc Degree with (Botany / Zoology / Bio-Science) and English, the stipulation of percentage in Class-XII is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class XII also.

Since you have completed your B.Sc degree then you are eligible for this post and your 12th class marks will not be considered. Make sure that you fit in the age limit criteria which is 17 and half to 23 years.

Only your Physics, Chemistry and Biology marks will be considered for the post of nursing assistant but make sure you have studied English also in 12th and must have scored more than 50% aggregate, only then you can apply for this post.

As, you have mentioned that you have completed your 12th from NIOS board with PCM but the eligibility criteria required for the post of nursing assistant is PCB and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject. Since you had PCM you are not eligible for the post.
