On January 2016 I started painting some portraits in order to improve my face expressions drawing skills. I enjoy this practice a lot. It was my firts attempt at telling a story.

The purpose of this series was to capture the total scene as fastest as I can. Each exercise involved a preliminar composition study on site in order to obtain the perfect athmosfere.

On 2019 I had the coordination of some live drawing session in the city of Queretaro. This time I'd rather give myself a chance with figurative abstraction and color saturation experimentation.

On 2023 I traveled to New York City and I assisted regularly to Long Poses Sessions. This is the result of these sessions. The main goal was to find a more subtle skin tones. I used a mixed technique consisting of watercolor wax pastels and watercolor pencil colors.
