Accommodation and Transport
Please be aware, due to limited availability, the event site is not in central Adelaide. Blackwood is a twenty-minute drive from the city centre, or a thirty minute commute on public transport from Adelaide central or Marion. Blackwood itself has limited accommodation, but there are nearby Caravan Parks, AirBnBs, etc.
Accommodation in Central Adelaide close to the Railway Station is a reasonable option, as Blackwood is a simple 30 minute train trip from the Adelaide Railway Station on the Belair line.
Alternatively, accomodation along the Belair Railway (including Belair Caravan Park) or on the 600 Bus Route will give good public transport links. If using public transport, please allow enough time to ensure you arrive in time.
Adelaide has public transport through Adelaide Metro. This service now uses contactless payment, so you shouldn't need an Adelaide Metrocard. Details for this can be found via their website.
Adelaide Airport is a short taxi, ride-share or bus trip from the city center. Please ensure you leave enough time for your connections.
Some limited carpooling may be able to be provided. Please contact us at southausriichi@gmail.com to enquire.
