Hi! My name is Armel Jolin [aʁmɛl ʒolɛ̃].
I am a PhD student and research fellow (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) in the DFG-funded research unit on Cyclic Optimization hosted at Universität Leipzig. My advisors are Maria Kouneli and Jochen Trommer. I go by he/they.
You can find my CV and contact info here.
My main research interests lie in the interface between morphology and phonology, and specifically in the modelling of morphophonological domains and non-segmental affixation. I am currently investigating grammatical tone in Southern Nilotic languages (Kipsigis, Pokot) via fieldwork.
