Our platform is filled with bold, creative ideas to make campus life better for everyone. We’re focused on building a stronger, more connected, and more enjoyable community, one where every student feels seen, supported, and proud to be part of it.
We care deeply about this campus and committed to pushing student-focused initiatives that make a real difference in everyday student life. This will be done by:
Meeting Rockets where they are,
Meeting with the various university departments like, dining, residence life, facilities, parking, UTPD etc. Addressing students issues and putting words into action,
Staying connected through social media,
Advocating for more campus security improvements,
Facilitate monthly meeting with UTSG Cabinet members to set semesterly goals within their specific department,
Working with the various student government sub-committees to implement policies that will positively impact students,
Standing firmly against efforts to restrict or diminish DEI initiatives and resources,
Improving awareness of campus and community support resources,
Implementing a parking forgiveness day,
Addressing housing concerns in McComas Village and in the residence halls,
Working closely with the Student Trustees through regular meeting to elevate student voices to the Board of Trustees
We believe student leadership should be more transparent, more accountable, and easier to access. Students deserve quicker, clearer connections to university leadership. This will be done by:
Introduce a semesterly public forum where students can directly engage with university administrators,
Implement an online portal for students to submit feedback and policy suggestions to student government,
Publish plain language summaries of major administraive decisions, budget changes, and policy updates,
Opening doors for students to better access university administration
Including student input on important university decisions
Building strong student relationships creates trust, belonging, and connection, key foundations for student success. This will be done by:
Expanding student organization roundtables,
Meeting with student leaders regularly, not just when it’s convenient,
Advocating for Greek life by listening to their needs, building partnerships, and turning student concerns into real action,
Hosting and co-hosting events with other student organizations
Effectively disseminate important information to students and organizations across campus
