The stallion that started it all for us!! This 19.1 hand stallion had incredible feet, a marvelous disposition, no stripe on his face and a near black leg, as well as no true color. The Clydesdale breed has seldom seen a better breeding stallion.
Major is the newest addition to Armageddon Clydesdales. We are expecting four foals sired by him in 2021.
Our thanks to Pat and Tanya Connors for the opportunity to purchase this wonderful black stallion. He is a joy to be around.
2013 Reserve All American Clydesdale
Major sired many quality foals for Irish Thunder Clydesdales including World Champion 2015 Junior Filly Foal, Irish Thunder's Ima Foolish Pleasure and 2016 Reserve All American Champion Yearling Stallion Irish Thunder's Celtic Quinn.
Westedge Major's Lucky 19854
January 2, 2001 Black Stallion
Doura Major x Westedge Gallant Amy
Lucky came to us from our good friends the Soukups of Diamond S Clydesdales in Wisconsin. He is an exceptionally well bred horse who is out of Ayton Perfection as a grandsire on the sire side and the renowned Royal Candy Floss who is granddam on the dam side.
Tim was a tall dark horse who came to us from the farm that produced our original outstanding herd sire: Solomon's Commander. Tim goes back to their second outstanding broodmare, the famous Solomon's Nellie Dean, out of Solomon's Chief and Barcrest Rosalee.
Arrow was bred by Ed Henken, Ferndale, Washington. He was shown his whole life in halter and in hitch classes, compiling an exceptional show record. He was a bay horse with a black gene, as is his brother Northwest Glenords Shea, who we previously owned. He came to us on lease for the 2001 & 2002 breeding seasons. He is the sire of Armageddon's Mistress Kefira and Armageddon's Mistress Levana both of whom have had excellent show careers. Kefira was sold to Alex Mullen.
Samson was sold to Murray & Ann Doreen and Clive & Rosemary Williams, Murrayfield Clydesdales, Levin, New Zealand. He was the first breeding stallion imported to their country in 25 years. He made the journey to New Zealand in the spring of 2001. Samson was last shown as a two year old when he was named Reserve All American.

Joe sired more All American award winners than any other Clydesdale stallion, since the inception of this program in 1994. His Get of Sire won at the National Clydesdale Show in 1998. To date he has sired eight champions at the National Show.
