ARMA student chapter at the University of North Dakota is an informative, and active part of American Rock Mechanics Association that promotes multiple connections between students, scholars and professionals for the sake of sharing ideas and building a strong knowledge on Rock Mechanics Engineering through organizing meetings, short courses, workshops, quarterly student competition.

ARMA student chapter was created in July 2020 by a group of UND students from different majors including Petroleum Engineering and Geology.
Our vision
ARMA student chapter serves its members and the public as the recognized representative of multi-disciplinary advancements and applications in rock mechanics.
Our strategy
ARMA student chapter encourages students who share an interest in rock mechanics to join the American leader association in Rock Mechanics for a better experience.
