My name is Arlenn Galván. I am a proud first-generation Mexican-American who was born and raised in Hayward, CA, in the Bay Area, along with my parents and older brother. In May 2024, I graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Master's in School Counseling and a PPS Credential.
My journey towards this achievement started when I attended California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in the Fall of 2016. I earned my BA in Child and Adolescent Development in Early Childhood in 2020. Ever since I was young, I knew that I wanted to become a Teacher or School Counselor, where I could work with students and impact their lives.
Currently, I am living in Fresno, CA, where I have had the pleasure of interning at Roosevelt High School, Terronez Middle School, and Duncan Polytechnical High School in Fresno Unified School District. Serving as a Professional School Counselor and having the chance to work with students and their families has been an honor for me.
